As the Minister for Healths appointee to the National Transgender Healthcare Steering committee, I am still under a confidentiality clause as to what exactly the committee discussed/recommended.

As a result of inaction on the part of the Dpt of Health, which allowed undesirable consultants to take advantage of COVID 19 distractions, we have now lost the only service

to trans children & young people.
COVID 19 is a priority. However, hard work, money & progress has been disbanded in other areas of healthcare that are just as important.

In the meantime, in just one year, the National Gender Service waiting list has gone from 15months to 3+ years.
