This is my 2020 #themasters thread that nobody asked for but I don't write about golf anywhere so it's going here:
1. Dustin Johnson - He's my favorite this week, along with Bryson he's THE betting favorite. We saw what he could do at Boston, and he played really well at Houston in his first week back after COVID. This will be his 10th Masters, and he's finished T-10 or better in last 4 trips
2. Bryson DeChambeau - Only his fourth Masters. I'm CONFIDENT that he will not win this week. Hasn't putted well at all at Augusta and although I think he'll be better this year, I think not having a Green Book is an actual deal for Bryson. He'll have personal best finish tho.
3. Rory McIlroy - This is my heart, man. I know DJ is my favorite but my heart keeps wanting to say this is it for Rory. Hear me out. Softer than normal is good for Rory. BRYSON TAKING THE ATTENTION AWAY from Rory getting beaten down by the questions about finishing grand slam.
plus, I believe that the new father thing is a real deal thing. Think it helps him.
4. Jon Rahm. Or as @TronCarterNLU calls him, Ron Jham, might be the best player in the world. Short game is great, he pounds the ball and was top-20 in strokes gained putting last season. He's sitting at T-147 right now in the new season. Positive regression. Top-5 incoming.
5. Justin Thomas - Been wayward off the tee recently, and it's happened a few times down the stretch recently. Hasn't putted well at the Masters, and although he's improved his finishes every year, I feel like that becomes static and we see a top-20 type week from him.
6. Collin Morikawa Matthew Wolff - I'd be surprised if either won, but think both can contend. Think Wolff is more volatile overall but his attitude might be perfect for a first-timer in Augusta. His length will be a weapon in the wet condition. Good value on DraftKings.
7. Brooks Koepka - He played well last week in Houston and he's used this type of pattern in the past before winning majors. If he stays healthy I fully expect him to contend. His major record is just too good to ignore.
8. Tony Finau - This is easy chalk. He's gonna blast it off the tee and play well all-around. He's going to finish in the top-15 with his eyes closed with this longer, softer setup. But we know he won't win.
9. Xander Schauffele - He's so solid, but he hasn't played much recently. I can't explain why because none of the numbers will tell you he'll have a mediocre week, but I think he does.

I hope he wins though. Too good to not have a major victory.
10. Jordan Spieth - He's going to be toward the top of the leaderboard on Thursday and Friday. His short game and his putter will keep him on track, then I think he slowly fades on the weekend. T-2, 1, T-2, 11, 3, and then T-21 is his #Masters record. He WILL win another. Not now
11. Bubba Watson - Playing really well right now. 4th in strokes gained tee-to-green so far in 2021 in 12 rounds of golf. Another good value in DraftKings. He pounds the ball and has won here twice, but he's been up and down at Augusta overall. Top-15 last two years though.
Winner: Rory McIlroy
Won't win: Bryson DeChambeau

Tiger & Phil miss cut

I did this so I can clown myself when it's all wrong come Sunday.
