All too often I see thanks given to individuals when in fact itâs taken a whole team to reach an end goal, rarely do people realise the effect this has on those team members who seldom gain recognition or acknowledgement for their role in a team objective. Iâm a great (1)
believer in praise where itâs due but not at the expense of alienating or belittling others. Yes, there are times people need to be made aware of their weaknesses but to do so in a public domain is not only spiteful but has scope to create toxicity (2).
