Social media creates this illusion that we need to connect to diverse networks so that we can share perspectives, work out problems or educate ourselves. Unfortunately the strong Leftist bias advantages only one point of view or trend in most of these spaces.

Instead of participating, some people have moved on to other forums like Parler. This may be a good idea for a couple of reasons - it disillusions the notion of diversity of beliefs in these spaces & it harms the revenue streams of social media platforms such as FB & Twitter.

Instead of participating in online debates, which go nowhere & waste energy, I believe that Libertarians and Conservatives (and others who want to reduce government) should focus inward to work out new plans and activism, instead of just reacting to the Left.

The Left is already making fun of people on the Right for moving their online discussions to Parler and I believe that's a good sign. The Left want everyone to stay in Leftist spaces so they can frustrate and censor others.
