Biden knows how the White House operates as do most of his senior transition team. That’s one of the biggest hurdles to preparing to take over

The transition thus far has been pretty flawless - their setup is very professional and glossy - the theater they’ve rented as a high tech meeting space is way better than anything we had

I’ve talked to several members of the transition team and they are cranking. They are not slowing down.

The transition itself if a crappy endeavor and despite the fact THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE FUNDS THEY ARE ENTITLED TO - they are moving ahead with top notch agency review groups that are currently all volunteer based right now.

So what Trump is doing is acting like a dictator. A role he’s been practicing for his entire life. And while Trump-Republicans are trying to drive this over a cliff - the Biden team is doing as artful a job as possible in not letting the Trump pathos slow them down

I am not saying this situation isn’t dire. GSA not letting them into their space, possible substandard USSS protection - so much of this is just totally fucked up and dangerous - but my point is that we are very lucky to have a very experienced team in Biden-Harris.

but while i’m here. we have to stay vigilant and informed. we knew he wouldn’t go quietly. we hoped the Trump-Republicans would, i dunno, act like they did during Watergate but they aren’t.
