The latest Trump election lawsuit includes 230+ pages of affidavits from election observers. They say they were denied "meaningful access" to observe the ballot counting process and detail alleged mishandling of ballots.

I read every page. Here's what I learned. (THREAD)
Complaint: Poll workers entered 1/1/1900 as the birth date for multiple ballots.

Fact: Michigan election officials have confirmed that 1/1/1900 is often used as a placeholder birth date for ballots arriving just before Election Day.
Complaint: Poll workers weren't matching voter signatures.

Fact: Signatures are compared by local election clerks *before* absentee ballots arrive at the counting location.
Complaint: Ballots were duplicated without a Republican election observer present.

Fact: Michigan law requires the two people duplicating the ballot to be from different parties. It does not require witnesses from two separate parties to be present.
Complaint: Challenged ballots were set aside, but later counted anyway.

Fact: According to a 2020 Michigan training video, challenged ballots are supposed to be marked with pencil, but still should be processed and tabulated.
Other issues include:
-feeling intimidated or threatened
-being too far away because of #COVID19 restrictions
-hearing cheers when a GOP observer was escorted out of the room

But those issues don't have anything to do with alleged voter fraud or improper ballot handling.
That is not an exhaustive list of the complaints in the Trump campaign's lawsuit, but it covers most of them.

It just took a little online research to find out that many of the allegations of wrongdoing aren't so wrong after all.
