Holy moly guys. Little old me is running a playwriting course for the bloody national theatre

Me? Who spent their childhood being told to be quiet

Me? A small brown woman who rarely sees herself represented on stage

Me? With my passion, drive and determination. Hells yes me
I started writing that tweet being all self depricating. And then I was like NO! I earned this. I worked hard for this. I get to share my utter infatuation with theatre with the nation's next generation of writers.

And you know what, I'm going to fill their souls with hope.
I'm going to warn them that this industry will shit all over them. It'll try and break them down, tell them their voices aren't good enough. But then they'll remember me telling them they're worthy.
And they'll write banging plays and finally, FINALLY we'll get the theatre we deserve.

Well not you lot.. Not the gatekeepers. You deserve your own demise.
