Far too many people are thinking of Trump's actions in terms of what is legal.

He has broken the law, before and during his presidency, over and over and over.

Moreover, Trump is busy setting up a civilian chain of command at DOD that is absolutely loyal, and he has an Attorney General who has rubber stamped all sorts of crimes of his.

He has already bought loyalty from local cops throughout the land, with Billy Barr's help, and he has gleefully enabled white supremacist terrorists.

One more thing: it is absurd to think the ONLY way Trump will attempt this is by refusing to certify the vote. If Trump can get Billy Barr to declare Democrats terrorists -- something Billy Barr has already said! Over and over!! -- then it would justify a crackdown on opponents.

The vote counting hoaxes are just story telling. But they lay the groundwork for actions ELSEWHERE that are about necessitating another kind of crackdown.

I'm not saying it will happen. I'm saying stop pretending it's not an obvious direction.

There is, in the SSCI Report, ABUNDANT evidence that Oleg Deripaska's role in 2016 is far more than made it into the Mueller Report. But the Mueller Report made it clear that Manafort's job was to soften up countries for Deripaska's games.

Let's imagine, for a second, how that kind of operation would look in the US.
Deripaska was ALL OVER the 2016 operation, getting polling data and probably seeding the disinformation in the Steele dossier.

What would THIS STAGE look like now, if Oleg Deripaska (key funder of a steel plant in Mitch McConnell's home state) were running this?
