The wealthiest TD in the Dail isn't Michael Lowry or the Healy-Raes, it's Sean O'Fearghail who has extensive social housing interests mostly in Kildare. Just because it's social housing doesn't mean you can't ask hard questions.
And to be clear, I think Fr McVerry is a man who cares deeply and charitably about homelessness. And without such champions, maybe the govt wouldn't allocate our money to social housing. But an eejit can see how dodgy it all is.
