My father told me doctors initially suspected a stroke, but couldn’t reach a definitive diagnosis. They recommended he see a cardiologist ASAP.
This health crisis comes after the prison failed to arrange appointments w/ specialists after his last hospital admission in October.

Prison authorities have ignored his deteriorating health for years and we are deeply concerned for his wellbeing.
My father is a 72-year-old prisoner of conscience whose only crime is calling for democratic change in #Bahrain.
He must be released https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/04/06/bahrain-free-imprisoned-rights-defenders-and-opposition-activists
