Just walked the course for the first time. Some thoughts and observations.

• The overhead wire cam on 16 is going to be amazing.
• No ropes makes the place feel more different than it seems like it would.
• Greens are pretty brown already!

• 15 looks like a different hole without grandstands.
• Watched Bryson drive 14 and 15. On 14 he was borderline pitching his second in. 15 was an easy short iron (8?).
• Grass around the greens does seem to be quite a bit different than in April, and it's really, really wet.

• This one is selfish, but this is kind of the best viewing experience of all time.
• Walked seven holes with Tiger, Scott and Couples to end the morning. Will write about it shortly.
