For those that like to debate my banner on these platforms be clear it stands once again in 2020. a thread.
honestly contemplating never taking it down until it changes but that probably means it will never come down.
connecting the dots between our election system. Includes the electoral college, we all know is based on slavery, the constant mantra that the coasts should not dictate where this country should go but sure middle America should. It's absurd. oh & racist! https://giphy.com/gifs/LT6MTwW0MY5sl71X85
so let's begin. Exit polls. compare them. 2016. 2018. 2020.

To be fair I'm noting those that include having to contact absentee voters because they didn't show up at the polls. 2020 exit polls should have COVID embedded.
the first one is the historical one until 2012. I have to add 2016 later. The key point is about this one. ie 2020 NBCnews. And those that will follow. The differences btw wyte and non-wyte voters. Native voters are missing and I want to hold space for that.
Debate if you want, the highest percentage and shifts in elections happen with Black voters. This is why our research on using disinfo on targeting them was a key factor in 2016 and especially what we are seeing right now.

A threat to American Democracy: https://stoponlinevaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/7.pdf
This doesn't dismiss the attacks on other voters of color. This country has a longstanding and documented history of putting up barriers to their ability to vote. However, one group can vote without barriers and the stats show exactly how they vote. And have been for over 50+yrs
And the break down by gender also tells an interesting story. One that is currently being debated among communities of color.

FYI, WW are not overwhelmingly Democratic voters either.
Now the story that Biden didn't bring in young voters isn't really telling the truth. Check out that Black youth vote tho. 👇🏿👇🏾👇🏽
Now, I'm going to have that ridiculous economy and WWC tweet here. first off if you start with WWC you've already started on the foot of a racist political narrative.

Second, guess who you really need to be talking to instead? 100-199k class. That's your class debate.
I dare y'all to run as a candidate for the 100k and above voting bloc. I want to see it.
Now the other racist political strategy that is based on using terms like democratic cities, urban, rural or the "coasts." yes we all know which voters you believe are in each but here's a graph.
There will be a lot of convos about what we should be doing next but I want to make folk understand that 66 million Americans voted for white supremacy and bigotry but some of you are still thinking unity is going to get us there. Like the bigotry is just going to disappear?
And if you want you can see the whole poll yourself here. There are a lot of other interesting questions some of you should spend some time on and catch up including the one on COVID and that favorability talking point we see around so often. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-elections/exit-polls?icid=election_nav
