CGP has nothing to do with the International Institute for Islamic Thought (much less the MB). (but trademarked until 2021). Our @CGPdc is in the midst of a name change but you can imagine those are subject to prolonged, spirited internal debate. In any case, we are part of Fairfax University and, thankfully, we don't need anyone's money.

As an aside: I'm acutely aware of what is happening in the DC thank tank scene though I don't tend to pick twitter fights about it. But I find it ironic that UAE voices would come after one of the few organizations in the city not compromised by foreign government money.
