Want to become a professional sports bettor? I created a basic list of hurdles you’ll face at different stages.

1. Most bettors start without winning info or the needed bankroll. It takes years for most to get beyond step one if they ever do. (Most don’t)
2. Having a smaller bankroll you have the luxury of being able to pick off numbers but if you’re good enough this won’t last long.

3. Finally have winning info and a decent bankroll? Many books will now start to limit you and even ban you from their sports books.
4. You’ll learn that there are only a couple of books worth being in Vegas for due to being limited/banned.

5. Once you figure out Vegas isn’t that great outside of a couple books and it’s all about offshore and credit accounts you’ve got it figured out...or do you?
6. Once you start firing +ev plays offscreen & offshore people are there to steal your info and beat you to the number.
7. Now that people are starting to beat you to your own plays you have to get creative and be able to fire simultaneously with bots. But a lot of CR accounts toss you for using a bot. So the grind becomes more about getting accounts than betting itself.
Betting on sports isn’t easy and there are lots of hurdles along the way. We didn’t even go into getting stiffed and many other downsides of sports betting. The grind is tough and there are so many challenges along the way but I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.
