I don’t know who needs to hear this, but trust your gut. About EVERYTHING and about EVERYONE.

Always trust your gut.

Your gut is the Holy Spirit or your guides or the universe or whatever you believe in guiding you. It will NEVER lead you astray.
Sometimes you’ll second guess yourself because maybe the opportunity seems to be EVERYTHING you need or the person has a good reputation and everyone likes them.

Still, if your gut is telling you that thing or that person is not for you, believe it. The first time!
One way to sharpen your sixth sense is through meditating regularly.

Meditation is an opportunity for you to be still, close your mind and open your spirit so you can clearly hear God and your guides.
Another way to judge whether something or someone is for you or not is to pay attention to whether you are at peace or not.

If it’s for you you’ll be at peace. If it’s not for you, you’ll have an uncomfortable and nagging feeling.
When you meditate regularly you teach your spirit to listen and to know the voice of God and/or your Guides.

You have to teach your spirit to listen. The more you know how to listen to your spirit, the more confident you’ll be in trusting your gut.
Also,

the better you know God’s voice or that of your Guides, the better you’re able to discern between fear caused by trauma and actual guidance from God.
