#BerberaPort #Somaliland #CoonFiles #Fraud In this episode of the Coon Files we will be analyzing the coon port of Berbera, and how they used government money to buy equipment but not register the "fleet" in their own country. To avoid accountability from Somali landers/taxes etc
#BerberaPort #Somaliland #CoonFiles As we see in this image as of 2020/11/11 these Somaliland "owned" vessels are in the port of Berbera 1.MJeex (donated by uae) 2.Egal 3.Port of Berbera. 2 tugboats 1 pilot vessel.
1.Maroodi Jeex aka M Jeex is registered under the flag of St. Vincent and Grenadines. đź’€ The Uae helped secure this for Somaliland.
2. Egal the tugboat, is registered under St. Vincent and Grenadines.
3.Port of Berbera is registered under Sierra Leone and is a pilot vessel.
My question is, do ordinary #Somalilanders know their national "fleet" is operating under different flags and paying tax to those nations????
My guess is Somaliland owns shell companies in St. Vincent and Sierra Leone, and paid back door deals for these boats. #FollowTheMoney đź’€
A ship's owner may elect to register a ship in a foreign country which enables it to avoid the regulations of the owners’ country which may, They may also select a jurisdiction to reduce operating costs, avoiding higher taxes and bypass laws that protect employees.
In jurisdictions that permit it, actual owners may establish shell corporations to be the legal owners of their ships making it difficult, if not impossible, to track who is the beneficial owner of the ship. How can Somaliland citizens keep track of their national fleet this way?
Now I wonder what M JEEX was going in Egypt and Libya? Allegedly Smuggling or trafficking? đź’€
And the government of St.Vincent's agreed with my hypothesis here.
