I think the Black dudes who feel "excluded" from political process when they see Black women in leadership positions, investing in voting and being proud... can only feel "excluded" if they believe Black women aren't an equal part of the community.
It makes me wonder what they really were voting for when Obama was president then. It's not the majority of Black men. But it is a vocal minority who tried to hijack 2020 with a bunch of "where is the Black agenda" dog whistling near the very end of the process.
Just seems like the message here is "Black women are part of the community as long as I perceive them to be beneath me on the patriarchal scale of measurement."

And with Abrams, Harris, Symone Sanders etc... there's now this wave of "Black men are being excluded."
There's nothing in the agenda that wouldn't help Black men as well. If anything the agenda has been expanded to include issues that affect Black women like "maternal health."

Unless you believe the Black agenda is exclusively the domain of Black men... what is the issue?
If anything I think we're at the precipice of the culmination of DECADES of investment in the dem party by Black women finally paying off.

Rather than this brinksmanship thing some brothers are trying to do Black women just fully invested and now it's paying dividends.
I feel like if brothers never had problems with "My Brothers Keeper" programs from Obama then why be bothered now? The concern for gender equality wasn't really there just 4 years ago.

(And yes the MBK program also did help some Black girl orgs as well)
I saw that post floating around yesterday and that's just where I am with it.

Blaming the kids was really low because we all know your little boy isn't sitting around watching MSNBC all day turning to you and asking "Daddy what about me? They keep saying Black women and not me"
It reframes a lot of the Black opposition to Kamala for president that immediately switched to rooting for her as VP with a man ahead of her on the ticket.

It also explains why so many prominent misogynists were appealing to Trump with their exclusionary Black plans.
If you believed Obama was progress for ALL Black people then I don't see how Kamala is progress for Black women but a slap in the face to Black men...
