Exposing the Real Madrid vs Valencia game on Sunday and the refereeing decisions made in game:
First of all, the first goal.. it was an obvious penalty but shouldn’t have been replayed, according to TheFA law 14 when the penalty kick taker or his teammate commits an offense, and the outcome of the pen is no goal, it’s replayed as an indirect free kick, not a penalty
Now the second goal, an own goal by Varane, but what happened before the ball reached Varane? Asensio got fouled but the ref didn’t do anything about it, an obvious foul leading to a goal.. the goal should’ve been called off and a foul should’ve been played
Now the third goal.. which again came from a penalty, but was it really a penalty? No. Marcelo got fouled in the penalty but instead the ref gave the decision in Valencia’s favour! Didn’t even check the VAR.. Marcelo was fouled and Valencia’s player should’ve even received a card
Now for the 4th and last goal, by your first look at it, it’s an obvious hand ball, but what you didn’t see is that Valencia’s player touched it with his hand before Ramos did! Should’ve been a free kick for Real Madrid, but again, the ref didn’t check VAR and review his decision
