#VeteransDay celebration begins with Robert W. Preston Sr.- my grand-uncle served in World War II.
My grand-uncle Austen Watson served in WW2 years before he would parade the Thanksgiving Turkey around my grandparents' home in NJ (the smudges in the hallway allegedly added to the resale value).
My uncle Bob Anderson served in the Army during the Korean Conflict- he'd later send us elk sausage and venison each Christmas while sporting the best muttonchop sideburns on the planet.
Uncle Jim Watson served overseas before embarking on a career in radio and TV ad sales. #VeteransDay
Uncle Jeff Preston flew in the Air Force before famously crushing the NY Times crossword in pen on a regular basis. #VeteransDay2020
Uncle David Anderson served in the Navy. #VeteransDay
Lt. Thomas S. Preston trained pilots on the A4-Skyhawk from 1967-71.
