Raise your hand 🙋🏼‍♀️ if #Thanksgiving is your favorite holiday! It’s definitely mine, but planning how to celebrate safely and socially distanced this year is a little tricky.

I’m on #YourMorningAlbany this morning with some ideas from local businesses #YMA @SPECNewsAlbany.
First up: The Century House in Cohoes is known for filling its ballroom with hundreds of guests on #Thanksgiving, but they weren’t even considering that with the 50 percent capacity indoor dining restriction — wanting to keep people and their staff safe this year. – bei Century House
Instead you have THREE awesome options.

• Individual to-go dinners
• Family style to-go dinners for 4-6 people
• Dine IN for two hours in one of their 11 private event spaces on the property for six-50 people.
The Century House is using electro-static sanitizer to disinfect the dining rooms in between parties, and allowing them to sit and dry before the next party comes in.

I got to see the process last week: – bei Century House
If dining in — or ordering to-go meals— sounds good, get your order in ASAP by the end of the week! You can order dinner online on their website, but have to call to reserve a private room.
They are also still offering their “buy one, share one” meal program this year — probably more important this pandemic year than ever. For every Thanksgiving meal purchased, they donate a meal to the food bank. They’ve donated over 1 million meals since starting the program.
If you’re interested in learning more about ordering dinner or booking a reservation, we’ll have all the details on the Spectrum News App for you!
