The education systems teach you that correctness and accuracy are valued above anything else.
A typical exam consists of questions.
You are measured by your ability to answer correctly, and you are let to know that "all information you need is in the question".

You are measured by your ability to answer correctly, and you are let to know that "all information you need is in the question".
You are supposed to take your time - thoroughly analyze the problem domain, and carefully extract the correct information from the question given.
This scenario is often very little applicable in real life.
This scenario is often very little applicable in real life.
In real life, what will bring you forward is the ability to execute and take fast decisions based on an incomplete picture of information.
Most people are terrified of this!
Because it's not what they've been taught.

Here's a new proposal for an exam format:
The questions won't have all the information you need.
You'll have to make reasonable assumptions and make decisions out of intuition.

The questions will oppose frustrating and demoralizing dilemmas, where tradeoffs will be inevitable.
You will be measured on your ability to get it done fast, and taking correct decisions more than 70% of the time.
This would get you ready to be rocking life
