Feel need to address this as someone who spent 3 years engaging with leavers or abstainers who were very keen to have the change to look at the brexit issue again.

That can’t be compared to the arguments made as to why the U.K. should consider Brexit. Yes there have always been arguments that the way #EuRef was set up was flawed e.g exclusion of @the3million EU cits or many @BritishInEurope that would be most effective but I’m not aware 2/4
That anyone ever claimed 17m votes were not cast for leave or that say 2m remain votes were thrown away. The argument was always that those advocating leave did so on the basis of either outright lies (eg Turkey is about to join EU) or completely contradictory arguments. 3/4
The reason for a #Finalsay was always for, when the reality of brexit was clear was for the public (however they voted) to give informed consent as to where the brexit on offer matched what they expected. This is worlds apart to Trumps actions! 4/4
Ps @DPJHodges, I do actually read a lot of your columns and do like a lot of them, but i do invite you (and others making your argument on this) to speak to some of the leave voters turned #RemainerNow guys that have been seeking a #FinalSay for years.
Why is it always after your tweets/threads have been shared widely, that you notice several typos (as a result of typing too quickly on a coffee break) and then it’s too late to change? But I hope everyone ignores those and still can understand the points being made.
