Day 6 of threads on ISL teams and today I look at Jamshedpur FC.
Getting Coyle and Valskis has been a coup for JFC, proven performers and Valskis is the kind of striker that JFC missed, someone who can score 10 plus goals (Castel could have if not for injuries)
Coyle showed at CFC that he plays an attractive brand of football, and for the 1st time JFC have a coach who likes to attack and does'nt just sit back, for 3 seasons JFC suffered as they got too many draws, they need to win more games to make Top 4
The signing of Jackie is a big one, the kind of player Coyle likes, can put in the crosses. Decent Indian core, but my worry is most of them are too young (Amarjit, Narender, Aniket etc). Pawan is a good keeper, but can he fill Subrata's shoes. The bench strength looks a bit weak
The foreign signings look great though. Eze and Hartley in defence could be one of the best partnerships. Solid old school defenders. @AndyPaschalidis speaks highly of Fitzgerald so that's another player to watch out for. Alex Lima is another quality signing. Monroy is decent
Coming to strikers, Valskis obviously is a great addition, scoring 15 goals is no mean feat, and scored all kinds of goals, plus looks like top team man, never grumbled when benched. Wish JFC could retain Castel, Grande is a decent back up option, but Castel was next level.
JFC will probably be over reliant on their foreigners, if they can adapt and the Indians just do their roles well they could be alright (like Northeast in season 4?).
They will probably play quick interchanges, and that means Jackie and the other winger need to be at top form
STRENGTHS: Owen Coyle as coach, knows the league and plays a fluent attacking style, great bunch of foreigners. The Hartley-Eze partnership could be vital.

WEAKNESS: The Indian core is inexperienced, but chance for them to rise to the challenge
Overall, JFC should do well, depends on the impact their foreigners have, esp Valskis, can he do what he did without Chhangte/Thapa/Rafa?
JFC will be an good team and keep an eye on the Indian young boys, esp Amarjit, who I believe can be a future NT regular
