The WOKE Hindus who argue that fireworks are not as per "Shaastras" -
1) Have you even read Shaastras?
2) Do you know how much of Hindu literature was BURNT by Islamic invaders? How do you know it wasn't in the shaastras? Any living tradition MUST be kept alive. +

3) Do you do everything as per Shaastras from the moment you wake up to the moment you go back to sleep? Do you do everything as per Shaastras for ALL festivals? If the answer is "No" for anything, why try to bluff about bringing Shaastras into Diwali celebration?

4) If you want to prove that you care about the environment, why not go campaign to the farmers burning stubble night & day who have already destroyed the air? That is NOT any tradition. It is a slow poison we are breathing.

5) Do you question other religions on whether their celebrations are as per their holy books? Christmas tree is a modern invention. So is Eid ki Sevayi. Numerous other items on this list. Are you questioning them?

6) The same woke Hindus also go around celebrating Halloween & Christmas & New Year. Which Shaastra tells you to do that?
