A thread on why " the fake confession" did not ruin Sakura's character and why she needs more appreciation for it
Over here Sai goes to Sakura and tells her that Naruto is in love with her and that Naruto's promise to Sakura is a burden to him
Sai even goes ahead by saying that she is acting like a curse mark for Naruto which is a huge remark
Sakura after her confession tells Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke and to think about his own safety.
This clearly shows that her main intention was always to protect Naruto
Moving on Sakura's main goal was to tell Naruto that she and the others are going to kill Sasuke but she couldn't tell him because Naruto was fixated on saving Sasuke
Sakura wanted to lessen Naruto's burden by confessing to him and giving up on Sasuke
Sakura couldn't tell Naruto that she was going to kill Sasuke as it would have hurt his feelings
People say "she played with Naruto's feelings" and all that stuff but in The Last Naruto agrees to the fact that he never really loved Sakura (although that kind of contradicts Naruto's earlier statement)
And Naruto knew Sakura's was lying from the start so he never got played
Sakura could have thought of a better way to tell Naruto but her intentions were good. She thought about Naruto's welfare and only wanted to protect him.
This marks the end of the thread.
