They were invited to Dick Clark’s Rockin Eve at Times Sq & had to go to NY. Bc the dates overlapped, it was impossible to go to MBC. Had MBC been flexible enough to allow BTS to prerecord their pt, they would’ve gotten BTS on the show, but the MBC production team didn’t do that.+
Instead, with BTS’ absence, a strange situation arose. Since their debut, Gfriend, who has been invited to all the year-end shows at the major networks, didn’t perform on one stage: MBC.

This isn’t the first time Park Junghwan has written a scathing column. He wrote one in 2019 about how SBS MBC KBS looked dumb by not giving BTS the final slot in the year end shows.
