What I learned from my first 50 shopify sales

Thread 🧵
Some days are just bad.

Don't be discouraged if you make little or no sales one day.

Figure out where you went wrong and work on that to improve for the next day.
Don't shy away from tweaking price

I didn't want to hurt my profit but I wasn't getting any sales at all even though my ad blew up.

The minute after I dropped the price down by 2 dollars, I got 3 sales and made 20+ more that day.
Try to make ads that fit into the feed

I advertise by directly buying ads off of big instagram pages.

My ads ALWAYS do better when they fit the theme of the page.

Twitter screenshot page?

Make a thread that's an ad

Memepage?

Make a meme ad
They get tons more engagement too.

Not only that, it will make pages feel more inclined to work with you since they won't lose followers over a garbo ad and it won't ruin their feed.
CONSTANTLY check your site/fulfillment center orders.

You could have an order that has an error and didn't go through properly and unless you are checking and fixing any errors, they won't get sent out and the customer might cancel the order for the wait.
That's all I learned from my first 50 orders.

Almost breaking $1000 in sales so I will make a thread about that soon
