Lloyd will find a way into the team cuz that’s what she always does let’s be real.
I’m predicting a rapid rise in Smith (like the rise of Pugh in 2016) that will leave it impossible to leave her off the team

Purce will only be in the picture if she can improve her defensive abilities rapidly. She could replace Davidson or Sonnett if she improves on defense
There is simply no room for Krieger when there’s only 18 spots. She can possibly be given an alternate spot but that’s doubtful

Williams and McDonald will both be phased out after Vlatko realizes he has more effective finishers in the new wave of younger players coming in. alternate spot maybe for williams

Vlatko seems to like Sullivan as a 5th midfielder so she’ll be included. I’m expecting Gautrat to be in the picture for some reason. She’s still young and I have a feeling she’ll get in better form by the summer. K. Mewis could be up there for last midfield spot too
Pugh will still be struggling on and off with injuries which will put her behind the 5 forwards that I chose, alternate spot if shes healthy

Franch is already on the way out due to her age and lack of caps. Her current injury looks like it’ll be the nail in the coffin for her NT career
Campbell is going to be the 3rd choice keeper by then because she’s young and full of potential, but Bledsoe could be in the mix too

This will be the last NT hoorah for a handful of players I’ve included, but the only next generation player that I see breaking into this team for Tokyo is Smith. The rest of them will become more prominent in late 2021 into 2022.
I can also see Vlatko taking only 4 midfielders (Ertz, Mewis, Horan, Lavelle) and opening a spot up to take another forward. Considering Dunn, Pugh, Heath, and Lloyd all have experience in CM positions. Might not be a bad idea
