I’m watching white liberals on the news blaming the calls to Defund the Police as the reason for losses in the House. And I am enraged at this attempt to discipline Black and progressive folks into centrist positions after we delivered the WH and the House in historic turnout.

Leaders don’t follow consensus. They build consensus. And I will not abide these claims that progressivism is the problem. You can’t claim Trumpism is the problem and then govern slight to the left of it. That’s why progressive have to over correct.

I am about to go to bed. But let me say: white liberals come off your centrist bullshit. The problem in this country isn’t progressive voters. It’s the 70 million cult like adherents to Trumpism. Telling progressives to play small won’t solve your Trump problem. Be bold. Period.

Black, Latinx, and Indigenous voters didn’t risk it all in a pandemic for y’all to preach at us about your flimsy racial unification project. Eff that. Like they say down south: you better dance with the ones who brung you. Govern for us not them. Good night.
