Now you may look at Bane and see his age, the low scoring totals and just look past him entirely. But don’t do that. Bane has improved in every college season at basically everything.
The shot form may look a bit quirky, and the mechanics may be a bit different than others, but that does not make them bad by any means. His jumper is smooth and quite quick, and he’s been shooting 44% from downtown on a 6.5 shot per game clip.
Bane is a combo guard with pretty good height. He’s also a pretty decent defender, so he can carry his own weight in the backcourt. He’s quite fast and likes taking his opponents to the basket, though his percentage at the rim isn’t great.
But Bane’s bread and butter is his shooting. Bane can shoot off the dribble and off the catch, and his handle is pretty good, meaning he can play almost any role a team needs him to. His pure-creation isnt totally there just yet, but he has improved quite a lot in college.
Bane is a decent playmaker, nothing special though. This is not one of his strong suits, but he can get by as a passable playmaker as of now. But his decision making is pretty good and I can see him turning into a pretty good playmaker.
Bane plays with quite a lot of confidence, and has almost no flaws in his game. Bane will be one of the best players in this draft and will be the ultimate steal of it.
