So, & this is just off the top of my head, am I to understand that the same geniuses in DC who
- told the world in 1950 that Korea was outside our sphere & was astonished when S. Korea got invaded...
- & in 1956 urged Hungary to revolt & then watched the Russians crush them...

- & in 1957 told our folks not to launch a satellite & was stunned when the Russians beat us to it...
- & in 1962 put nuclear-tipped missiles in Turkey & was stunned when Khrushchev said, fine, & put his own in Cuba & we almost had us a nuclear war...

- & in 1964 falsely claimed N VN had attacked our ships & passed the Tonkin Gulf Resolution that soon saw us lose over 65,000 troops in a stupid war and the people who passed it ran to tell everybody how awful our soldiers were?

- & in 1972, after both parties played dirty tricks on each other for years, one got caught at the Watergate Hotel which brought on braying hyenas on both sides who claimed they were innocent & destroyed a guilty President so as to avoid their own guilt?

- & in 1979 tossed our friend the Shah of Iran out like a dead mouse & was stunned when the Ayatollas took over?
- & then told us we were about to run out of oil & made us spend hours in gas lines?

- & then in 1983 decided it was just the things to send our Marines to Lebanon & let them get blown up in their barracks & then slunk away...
- & then in the 1990's thought it was great to send American jobs to Mexico and especially China thus creating vast underemployment?

- & then in 1998 it was just fine for a President to have sex with an intern after making rules that for anyone else it meant prison? & to take our minds off it, we bombed an aspirin factory & killed innocent people?
- & then let Bin Laden go & was stunned when 9/11 happened?

- & in 2000 couldn't run a Presidential election that dragged on for over a month?
- & oh yes, forgot, in late 1980's "tilted" toward Iraq in war w Iran & told Saddam he was doing great & was stunned when he invaded Kuwait & then we invaded, lost troops but let Saddam go?

- & in 2003, for reasons that were not true & mostly dumb, invaded Iraq & was stunned when they fought back & killed a bunch of our soldiers & lots of innocent civilians?
- & invaded Afghanistan, won, & decided to stay for no good reason while our troops, to this day, die?

- & I could go on but I think you get the drift...
These same geniuses running DC are stunned when we know they detested a certain guy, and, though we might not know for sure, are just a tad suspicious maybe, I dunno, they rigged an election against him?

- &, of course, we don't know but I think we might be allowed to wonder, considering all this history, without threats & crying & warnings & baying at the moon which, as Shakespeare noted, might just fall into the category of they "doth protest too much, methinks."
