It's clear to me that the NDIS has created a stratum of people making money via providing whatever they can get away with claiming is worthwhile, being incentivised to essentially scam people for the money the government allotted in lieu of an actually adequate welfare system.
Ten thousand born-again entrepreneurs of disability, scamming a 'free market' into existence and learning how to pass it off as altruistically 'empowering' the suckers sorry clients.
Milton Friedman but, you know, caring.
If you can get professional 'helping' people to recommend your con, make sure you get the mark locked into eight or twelve months even if they try to stop after one time, recognizing a useless scam, so you keep getting paid regardless.
Emotionally blackmail the disabled and their friends and family, and get good at performing your sincerity - the NDIS equivalent of the compulsory cheerfulness of the check-out worker, but more about gaslighting people into accepting subordination and calling it freedom.
If anyone complains, subtly imply they should be grateful to get anything at all.
If you exhaust the resources of a victim sorry customer, just sadly shake your head and say that, when they are able to afford it, you can get them into a course on sound financial management.
Make sure they know it is their own fault they got ripped off, but never acknowledge that is what actually happened. People just offer different services on the market and they chose badly.
They have choice now, and choice makes the market and the market is freedom.
Or it might look that way if you're a twelve year old boy halfway through 'Atlas Shrugged'.
Or whoever designed the NDIS. Or whichever governmental dipshits were high on Third Way ideology and made it happen.
