This is what I am excited for: what happens after this cycle

I'm excited for Chapter 2, when we leave the dayjobs and the need for money, and time expands and possibilities stretch out in every direction

This is what's happening already: crypto is making some of the smartest, boldest, most forward-thinking people in the world the wealthiest

It is people like you and I reaching into the pockets of nervous bankers. We are pulling fat wads of cash out of their musty vaults

This is the "wealth transfer" that matters...

This is taking money (which is just time and captured potential) from the passionless ones who spend all their time protecting it, and putting it into the hands of the doers

It's giving it to people who realize money itself isn't the goal but just the kindling that expands the map... that grows the possibilities

This is what happens in Chapter 2:

Some of us will use that money to build things in crypto...

Some of us will drink and drug and whore ourselves to death...

but most of us will do what we have always done... we will go further

We will study genetics and biology and astrophysics and art and global warming and solar power and sociology and AI and meditation....

and generational space travel. We will apply crypto in those domains. We will rip crypto out where it doesn't apply

We will probe the edges of the possible. We will tinker and build... only this time we will have the sorts of resources we might never have imagined possible
