You don’t have to like tentpole films. You don’t have to watch them. You don’t have to make them or star in them. But at least be fully aware of accessibility issues when it comes to non blockbuster films.
It is shitty tho that studios aren’t marketing other kinds of films or giving them wider releases. I wish that would change, cause I’m sure more people would be interested in different kinds of films other than tentpole films.
The reason why I always harp on this is cause it took ME a bit to realize that not everyone has access to different kinds of films & also different forms of art. not everyone had a grandpa who was an actor &a family that enjoys ALL kinds of films and going to plays and musicals
