Step 1 is to look over at this map. This map will tell you where the closest informed consent clinic is to you. Step 2 is to call the place you have selected and schedule an appointment to start HRT. Literally just ask "Hello, I'm looking to schedule an appointment to start HRT?" and follow up by asking if they know about how much the cost of an appointment for that should be.
At my local planned parenthood, an appointment ranges from $120-180. This includes bloodwork. This is without insurance.

*lots and lots of questions about your sexual preferences and position and what you want* This isn't even a gatekeeping thing or like. weird. It's literally them just asking you some questions. They will then show you a paper of what HRT does.
You'll look over and read the sheet, and sign saying you understand the effects and things that happen with HRT. They'll do some bloodwork. Provided that it comes back okay, you'll have your prescription! This part can take anywhere from 2+ days. Look at GOODRX to see prices.
Step 4: Pick up your prescription and USE GOODRX. 2 vials that normally cost 60$ go down to about $15 with it. Look before hand so you know what pharmacy you want to ask your doctor to use. Congrats! You're on hormones!
Something to note is that you will have to go back when you first start shortly after, just to make sure your bloodwork is still fine. My visits went 1 month, 3 months, and then now every 6 months. The spacing will vary from place to place and the appoints will vary in price.
Other things to note: I recommend asking your doctor to sign off on doing T subcutaneously. It's genuinely so much easier to do as far as shots go, hurts less, and from my perspective is just THE way to go.
