We have also acted out of love and made a difference. We need to keep on doing that.

I think that optimism is only credible when itâs gritty.
When you give up false hope, you can have the real kind.
Yes, it really is that bad. And yes, itâs still worth trying to make it better.

We have to be willing to acknowledge that the current President of the United States is attempting a coup.
We also need to do something that might be even harder: We have to remember that democracy is real and worth saving.
