This is a good q. Similar to how Allah once favoured the Jews, he chose the Arabs to convey his message to the world & his reasoning is not something we can be certain of but can try to understand from the Qur'an & Hadith. https://twitter.com/SudaniIslamist/status/1326306243703664643
This favour isn't innate, rather it's conditional & based on piety & good deeds. Prophets were sent to every people before Islam & each time those nations were chosen for their rightous actions but just as they gain favour they can also lose it, just as the Jews lost it.
Many use this Hadith to explain how, Arabs are superior. However, if we read the Qur'an (3:33) we can see that Allah is only repeating what he said to the chosen nations before the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
People misquote Ibn Taymiyah, who rightly explains why Allah MAY have chosen Arabs to convey Islam. However, he goes on to explain that this isn't an inborn favour & that they too can fall out of it like those before them. Again it's conditional & based on piety.
Lastly, Islam is the only religion Allah sent for all of mankind. Muslims, unlike our predecessors who received messages within their tribes, were sent a message that won't ever be abrogated & is meant for all people regardless of colour, ethnicity, language etc.
That was long-winded lol. To summarize, Arabs aren't superior but they are indeed the ones who were chosen to spread the deen. No need for others to feel less since we're still only better than eachother through piety.
