Starting of simple with a boot to the strong side. Nice to see they took my advice and let Gesicki be the main option on this play.
Simple read on the hitch route here. Easy throw in rhythm.
Great release by Preston here but Tua throws the ball too far outside. He missed the same throw against the Rams too.
Love the escape ability and pocket management here. Just chuck it into the stands next time 😉.
Jesse Davis gets clowned at LT here. Bad rep leads to an easy sack of Tua.
Really nice placement and timing here on the back shoulder. The OL appears to be run blocking, so this was Tua’s call to throw it here.
Tua properly tucks and runs here on the read option. I imagine we will start to see more of these even though it gives me a small heart attack.
Inject this throw straight into my veins. PA crosser to Gesicki should be a staple. Nice velocity and accuracy on the run into a tight window.
Easily my favorite play of the day. Fake the screen to both sides with presnap motion and slip the TE underneath. Modern offense!!!!
Looks like Tua might’ve had Shaheen for a second but Budda and the Cardinals weren’t fooled. Solid throwaway imo.
Bang! Tua finally learns his lesson and hits Preston on the inside. This is the type of development you like to see. Great release by Preston again too.
My camera work is bad here, but Parker is held anyway. Still I think Tua overthrew him. Let’s call it a wash.
Cardinals weren’t fooled, but I hope the Dolphins come back to this. Grant using motion to get a head start like this is a great redzone concept to build off of.
I’m assuming the Cardinals had a miscommunication and just forgot about Preston here. Either way, Tua takes advantage for the TD.
Another quick hitch here. Tua’s good presnap man. IDs his best matchups quickly and attacks them.
Dolphins tried to set up a screen here but the Cards aren’t fooled. Tua called for grounding here isn’t great either.
Austin Jackson just gets bull rushed into the QB for the sack here. He looked quite rusty coming off IR.
Tua doesn’t like what he sees and takes off. Am I allowed to call him sneaky athletic?

This time Robert Hunt gets beat. I still think he would be way better at OG. He’s just not that flexible in the hips.
Isn’t it nice to have a QB who can ID a free blitzer and throw hot? Couldn’t be the Rams.
I like the idea here. Tua holds the FS in the MOF and picks the correct matchup. Just a tad too strong. Also, the CB mugged Parker.
Cardinals bring a disguised blitz off the left side, Tua pivots and throws hot to Parker for an ez completion.
RPO right here. This is nit picky but Tua is a tad off target here. Also an argument Perry should’ve caught it too.
Cardinals fool the Dolphins with another blitz. OL Twitter feel free to correct me but it looks like it’s on The RG to pick up that LB?
This throw hasn’t gotten talked about enough. This is third and long, inside your own 10, with all the momentum with the other team.

Tua throws a laser to Parker with perfect timing and placement to the outside shoulder. Beautiful.
Tua panicked on a similar throw last week and missed it. This week he stays calm and delivers a strike.
Ez scripted throw here. Nice play by Budda to keep it to a minimal gain.
Incredible timing and placement by Tua here. Doesn’t get much than this on a deep comeback route.
Again, IDs the free rusher and throws into the blitz. Simple, but something young QBs can struggle with.
This is straight up wizardry. Tua’s escape ability might be his best trait.
Throws on fade routes don’t get much better than this. Perfect touch, timing, and placement.

What a freaking drive.
Tua throws this ball late and it’s under thrown. Gesicki makes a nice play on the ball bailing him. Gotta hit that corner a little quicker next time.
Right idea to throw this back shoulder given Parker’s leverage. Just not really an accurate pass.
