...one group of people who are allowed to interpret the law - they're called the judiciary and they are there, standing separately to the executive branches of governments and parliaments for a very good reason.
Make no mistake, the person who underestimates their legal adversary is not prepared for the fight in question - So I choose to be cautiously optimistic until such time as I am certain beyond all legal doubt.
What I will say, is that if this case, in even a small way has assisted in pulling the ambiguity over Section 30 of the Scotland Act into the light for public scrutiny, then that can only aid in the public being informed and that's a good thing.
