We did not learn anything about accommodating the needs of people with disabilities from the first wave. The barriers are worse in the second wave especially when accessing hospitals for any reason during #COVID19 #ontario #Canada
My brother, nonverbal with an Intellectual disability and complex needs, is admitted in hospital and alone. I keep having to fight for his support worker to be there. Let’s remind them again #healthcanada @PattyHajdu @CQualtro
