I have a few tips:
1) Take a look at the full schedule and map out your plan. Choose what sessions you want to see live (so you can ask q’s, participate in discussion etc) and which ones you can watch on demand (all recordings will be available til 1/15/21!) #gcchat #NSGC20 https://twitter.com/geneticsrebekah/status/1326309771935436802
2) Try not to multi-task (much easier said than done while we’re balancing work and life at home!)

Treat this like any other NSGC where you disconnect and focus on the sessions and speakers. Jump into the session chats and have conversations with your colleagues #gcchat #NSGC20
3) Utilize the breaks! It’s much easier to get that burned-out feeling when you’re sitting in front of your computer all day. “Walk” between sessions like you would if we were in person. #gcchat #NSGC20
And this is cheesy as heck, but 4) Find a way to have some fun. I’m looking at this virtual conference as a new adventure and a fun challenge to connect with folks.

(related: should @barrygood and I dress up like Dolly Parton one day to honor Nashville?) #gcchat #NSGC20
