What’s going on with the decapitation at the Pentagon and other national security organizations? I see 5 possible explanations ranking from not quite benign to destroying the republic.

1. A scorched earth campaign to humiliate natl security personnel who Trump deems as being insufficiently loyal, who caused him the election b/c they didn’t investigate Biden or abuse govt institutions for partisan purposes. IE a search for scapegoats to assuage his fragile ego.

2. An attempt to establish his own deep state within the agencies to obstruct the Biden transition landing teams.
3. An attempt to cover up crimes committed during the Trump administration, of which there were many.

4. To dig up Ukraine dirt on President elect Biden (ultimately prompting criminal investigation of the President elect to undermine his legitimacy from day one, as the Trumpkins believe Obama did to him). And given all the people around Nunes being appointed...

5. First stages of a coup (unlikely).

Any one of these is bad and it is outrageous that Republican leaders are complicit and not condemning the appointment of partisan hacks to critical national security positions or recognizing Biden’s victory. History will not be kind.
