When it comes to discipleship, I think we need deep and robust discipleship that centers on the knowledge of God as well as discipleship that brings together people’s dreams and potential with the vision of God’s Kingdom.
We should help people grow in their understanding of theology and of the Bible as well as help them to understand how their faith should impact their everyday life, dreams, aspirations, and pursuits.
The question of who is God is just as important as the questions, how does God work and how does God speak? We should help people understand the story of God as revealed in Scripture (who God is) as well as their own story in light of God’s story (how does God work).
I think people need to see God, but I also believe that people need to know how God is working in their lives and what story God is writing with their lives.

One more thing, I think people need to experience God in tangible and transformative ways as well.
Just some random thoughts I have on discipleship 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️. But whatever.
