I sat down this morning with a few colleagues from Belfast. We exchanged views on CV19. I presented this graph with context that nobody could dispute. That isn't just the opinion of some guy called me, but that opinion is supported by the data in country after country. Even if we concede masks work sometimes against symptomatic subject spread, they give the wearer a false sense of security thus potentially aiding the spread.

Case in point. Obama was just after throwing a basketball that had been bouncing all over the floor and in the hands of others. He then pulled down his mask to speak then pulled his masks over his mouth again to virtue signal. Masks add to the spread rather than preventing it.

I'm not against masks for the sake of it or because I'm some mad rebel. I'm against their use, in the general population, against the spread of a virus because such usage isn't supported by science or the data and I refuse to comply with quasi-science simply because I'm told to.
