They're about making sure we have more diversity in positions of power, where decision makers influence dramatic changes and innovation in the games we make and enjoy.

Different viewpoints, cultures and experiences do nothing but enhance the games that are on offer, and help build not only a better industry...but also a better range of games for the end user.
Its not about taking away from people, to give to other people. Or a 'leg up program'. People will always be hired on ability and team fit.
Capable people, irrespective of age, gender or colour aren't going to miss out on job roles.

One of the things i've learned at CA (especially within the art and animation teams) is that a range of cultures and experiences has helped breed an incredible environment with a bunch of fantastic, respectful (and fun) people.
And if anyone does jump in with the 'virtue signalling', I still always believe in the best person for the job. But I also believe in unconscious bias too. And I know, both of these can exist negatively within the same bubble.
