Those audits begin within 24 hours of the polls closing, and have to be completed before the canvass -- that is, before the election results become official. The audit teams include members of all recognized parties...

Only three of Arizona's 15 counties are not performing the hand-count post election audits. The reason? GOP officials in Yuma, Gila and La Paz counties failed to name members to the bipartisan hand-count board, according to elections officials.
Update; Maricopa County, home to Phoenix, has completed their bipartisan, hand-count post-election audit and found no discrepancies, as they'll report shortly to Arizona's Secretary of State.
Arizona's five largest counties have now found no or insignificant discrepancies in their vote counts after bipartisan, hand-count audits. Worth bearing in mind amid extensive disinformation campaigns that seek to undermine confidence in the election.
