We have witnessed this scenario of targeting women’s activists before just like it happened with Salwa Bughagis, Fariha Berkawi, Intisaar Hasaeri, and Siham Sergiwa

As it became recurrent due to the lack of enforcing the law and achieving accountability against those who violate human rights in #Libya

Today, this crime is another wake-up call from the city of #Benghazi that brings our attention to the safety threats that the armed conflict imposes on Libyan women and especially activists

We renew our demands to activate the rule of law and to conduct the necessary investigations to catch those criminals and hold them responsible and accountable to their crimes and violations before the #Libyan judiciary

We must achieve justice for all those women who lost their lives for the sake of #Libya We demand accountability.
