A few of my memories. I only spent 5 seasons working there and almost every day, there was something to smile about. Whether it was seeing the fans trying to get a glimpse of their heroes training or walking past the Champions league Trophy each morning... #FarewellMelwood https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1326117496005472256
Wasn't able to win the one that we all wanted during my time there, but was lucky enough to win 'A Trophy' and to have worked with some amazing players and staff... @ChrisMorgan10 @PeterBrukner @darrenburgess25 @PauloBarreira7 @milsomlfc @PCElitePerform to name but a few
That 2013-14 season was unbelievable to have worked in where @LFC almost did it....
Who can forget the 'awkward' signing Medical photos I was forced to do....😂
The 5 A side Friday afternoon games - Coaches vs Medical staff. One occasion I was sure the Medical team had the better team and told @kennethdalglish that. He just smiled and said we'll see. While getting changed, in walks his ringers - Barnes, McManaman, Rush and DJ Spoony..
Then of course there was the 'infamous' Being Liverpool documentary, which was so difficult as you trying to come across as professional and the players trying to put you off. That 'Blue suit' - what was I thinking🤬. I was definitely asking for it @Carra23...
The team meetings with the 'Being Liverpool' cameras around were hilarious - so wooden. As soon as the cameras were off, it was back to normal, with me being ripped out of as usual. Thankfully that wasn't recorded...
Lucky there weren't cameras around the pool. Like a few others, I had the misfortune of ending up in it with clothes on, thanks to @PReina25. We were going through a bad patch of results and the one thing he felt we hadn't tried was me ending up in the pool🤔😡
There was a huge community spirit at 'Melwood' and was again lucky to be involved in several health awareness projects and causes whether it be promoting Healthier lifestyles in schools @ZRFoundation or campaigning for AEDS in all schools / public places @TheOKFoundation
Seeing some of those players every day in training was surreal. I'm lucky to be able to work in a job where it doesn't seem like work and I'm very grateful for every minute. Melwood was special though and I won't ever forget my time there #FarewellMelwood
