Biden on Trump's refusal to accept the election result: "We're well underway," he said. "I'm confident that the fact that they're not willing to acknowledge me at this point is not of much consequence in our planning and what we're able to do between now and January 20."
“I’m letting them know, America’s back," Biden said, pointing out that he's spoken to six world leaders since he was declared the winner.
Says he hasn't had a chance to speak to McConnell and that the GOP has been "mildly intimidated" by the president. "But there's only one president at a time. He's president."
Biden's message to Trump: "Mr. President, I look forward to speaking to you."
Biden says he doesn't see a need for legal action in the team's push for the Trump administration to recognize his victory.
Biden said he wants to name a couple of his cabinet picks before Thanksgiving.
On Trump's refusal to concede: "I just think it's an embarrassment, quite frankly," he said. "I think it will not help the President's legacy." He refers to conversations with world leaders who are hopeful that the US democratic institutions will be viewed as strong again.
"But I think at the end of the day, you know, it's all going to come to fruition on January 20," he adds.
