(If you’re curious, the diagrams were for my reference in creating understudy tracks. I think @anna_h_h and I once talked about starting a google drive for assistant/assoc directors sharing understudy cards which we v much should do because it’s a whole skill!) #EmiliaWatchParty
I considered not tweeting about the muses carrying those books in but actually they nearly killed us so. Each shelf & position on the shelf had a letter/number & I think I spent a day of tech pointing at actors barking “E1! C middle!” and ykw I apologise #EmiliaWatchParty

Second childbirth is simpler/smaller than the first to reflect how first time mothers get a huge fuss and after that you’re kind of left to it #EmiliaWatchParty
One of the things of having three Emilias is that the emotional work of playing them has to be shared as well - as the actor, you don’t get the catharsis of the full arc. This is maybe hardest for Emilia 2 who begins and ends in trauma, and Adelle is astonishing #EmiliaWatchParty
And a hugely well deserved send off for Saffron/Emilia 1, who has a HUGE range of colours to work through, it’s like a dramatic pentathlon. You’ve done so well! #EmiliaWatchParty

I think it’s alright to say that this sequence of scriptorium -> burning took a LOT of work to get right. A lot of hours, a lot of concentration from everyone and what you see in the end is a lot of v finely balanced elements. Personally I think it’s a gut punch #EmiliaWatchParty
